Round trip through South Korea and Japan

For August 2026, I'm planning a round trip through South Korea and Japan lasting about three weeks and I'm looking for an open-minded travel companion (female) who is keen on the same mix: cities, culture, temples, and really good food. The rough itinerary is already set: Seoul: Palaces, the historic Bukchon village, and a trip to the DMZ Busan: By KTX to the sea, colorful Gamcheon village, and fresh fish Kansai: Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara for history and temples, plus a detour to Hiroshima Tokyo: Purely modern city, with day trips to Hakone or Kamakura My travel style in a nutshell: relaxed rather than rushed, with planned rest days due to the summer heat budget-conscious travel: Hostels, simple hotels, and lots of street food well-planned, but open to spontaneous moments Ideally, I'm looking for someone who is curious, reliable, and flexible, enjoys discovering a city on foot, and simply loves traveling together.
