Portugal Road Trip (or a better idea from you)

Hello everyone :-) I am primarily looking for a travel companion for a Portugal road trip. However, if you have an even better idea, then let me hear it. We can always do Portugal another time. ;-) My travel period is more or less set. I have to take my remaining vacation by the end of April. Since my colleague has already registered interest for right after Easter and traveling even earlier involves considerable weather risks, it would be the last week of April to early May. I had envisioned about 10-14 days, but I'm not fixed on that either. I'm 36, work as a financial advisor in a bank, and therefore enjoy traveling (my sedentary job needs a counterbalance). Since I don't like traveling alone, I need a travel companion. That's where you come in. My expectations for a vacation are as follows: trying local cuisine, discovering new places, relaxing sometimes and not just constant action, no low-budget vacation (so no hostels or the like). I've already done a few road trips, so I have a bit of experience. I'm also happy to drive during the vacation while you enjoy the view as a passenger. It's also important to me that we can laugh together and are somehow on the same wavelength. Therefore, it's certainly advisable to meet beforehand. Additionally, I'm more of a person who explores cities on foot. So, 20,000 steps shouldn't be your limit. The only thing I won't do are things at unsecured heights. So, things like mountaineering or ridge hikes. I tend to avoid even cable cars if I can. Otherwise, I'm happy to go over hill and dale. :-) If this has piqued your interest, feel free to write to me.
