Tajikistan in July – Khorog, Murghab & Wakhan

Kuzu zangpo! I'm Anjali from Tigernest, 24, and I've planned two weeks in Tajikistan for July 2028. Rough route: Khorog, Murghab, Wakhan, Dushanbe. The core of it is a road trip – so lots of mountains, a bit of road trip, and if time permits, nomads too. I like accommodation small and personal, more homestay than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick everything off: rather stay put somewhere if it feels right, check out local markets, strike up conversations with people. I'm relaxed, up early, and in the evening happy to sit at a table with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. Linguistically, Dzongkha/English are no problem. Looking for a travel buddy – we don't have to be together 24/7. Sharing meals, spending a day together, doing a hike together is totally enough. If this sounds like you, feel free to get in touch.
