Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the use of the travelmatch.net (travelbuddy.travelmatch.net) platform, operated by FREITAG Labs Corp., Unit 117, Orion Mall, Palm Street, P.O. Box 828, Victoria, Mahé, Seychelles (the “Provider”).
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the platform. By registering, you acknowledge these conditions.
2. Service Description
The platform facilitates contacts between individuals seeking or offering travel companions. The provider is not a contractual party to any trip mediated by the platform. No travel agency or tour operator contract is created.
3. Registration & User Account
Registration is free. You must be at least 18 years old. Only one account is allowed per person. Your information must be truthful. Ads are manually reviewed before publication.
4. Free and Paid Features
Posting ads is free. Responding to inquiries about your own ad is also free.
Actively contacting other users requires a paid subscription – with the following exception: If you have at least one approved ad with at least two photos online (created or updated in the last 90 days), you can also contact other users without a subscription.
Prices vary regionally (Purchasing Power Parity). Current prices are transparently displayed before contract conclusion.
5. Contract Duration & Termination
Subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew for another month unless canceled at least 24 hours before expiry. Termination is possible at any time without stating reasons directly in your user account.
6. User Obligations
Prohibited are in particular: commercial content without authorization, sexual or pornographic content, harassment of other users, false identities, violations of applicable law. Violations will result in suspension without refund.
7. Liability
The provider is not liable for content or behavior of other users, not for the execution of mediated trips, and not for damages arising from contacts via the platform. Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, as far as legally permissible.
8. Data Protection
Our privacy policy applies.
9. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
The law of the Republic of Seychelles shall apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, mandatory regulations of their home country remain unaffected. The place of jurisdiction for merchants is Victoria, Mahé, Seychelles.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
The provider may change these Terms and Conditions with reasonable notice. Significant changes will be communicated via email; silence after 30 days will be considered consent.
