Cambodia in January – Phnom Penh, Battambang & Kep

Hello! I'm Gabriela from Baños, 31 years old, and I've planned two weeks in Cambodia for January 2028. Rough itinerary: Phnom Penh, Battambang, Kep, Siem Reap. The core of the trip is a round trip – so lots of temples, a bit of history, and if time permits, also beach. I like accommodation to be small and personal, rather hostels than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick everything off a list: I'd rather linger in a place if it feels right, check out local markets, get into conversations with people. I’m relaxed, up early, and happy to sit at a table with a glass of wine or tea in the evening. Language-wise, it works without problems.
