Comoros in May – Mount Karthala, Moroni & Anjouan

Hi there! I'm María José from Monteverde, 28, and I've planned a week and a half in the Comoros for May 2028. Rough itinerary: Mont Karthala, Moroni, Anjouan, Mohéli. The core idea is island hopping – so lots of volcanoes, a bit of beach, and if time permits, diving too. I prefer small and personal accommodations, more guesthouses than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick boxes: I'd rather linger in a place if it feels right, explore local markets, and chat with people. I'm laid-back, an early riser, and enjoy an evening glass of wine or tea at the table. Communication in both Spanish and English is no problem.
