Papua New Guinea in August – Madang, Tufi & Port Moresby

Hi! I'm Noah from Los Angeles, 36, and I've planned two weeks in Papua New Guinea for August 2028. Rough itinerary: Madang, Tufi, Port Moresby, Mount Hagen. At its core, it's about guided travel – so a lot of culture, a bit of diving, and if time permits, hiking too. I prefer small and personal accommodation, lodges rather than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick off everything: better to linger in one place if it feels right, check out local markets, get into conversations with people. I'm relaxed, up early, and enjoy sitting at the table with a glass of wine or tea in the evening. Communication in English is no problem.
