Slovenia in July – Ljubljana, Bled & Bohinj

Hi! I'm Lucas from Mindelo, 44 years old, and I've planned a week and a half in Slovenia for July 2027. Rough route: Ljubljana, Bled, Bohinj, Piran. The core idea is a road trip – so lots of mountains, a bit of lakes, and if time permits, hiking too. I prefer small and personal accommodation, more guesthouses than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick off a checklist: I'd rather stay in one place if it feels right, visit local markets, and chat with people. I'm relaxed, up early, and in the evening I enjoy sitting at a table with a glass of wine or tea. Linguistically, Portuguese and Cape Verdean Creole are perfectly fine. I’m looking for a travel buddy – we don't have to be together 24/7. Sharing meals, spending a day together, or doing a hike together is totally enough.
