Republic of the Congo in August – Conkouati, Pointe-Noire & Brazzaville

Hello! I'm Marc from Kaunas, 41, and I've planned a week and a half in the Republic of the Congo for August 2028. Rough route: Conkouati, Pointe-Noire, Brazzaville, Odzala. The core is about safari – so lots of jungle, a bit of wildlife, and if there's enough time, gorillas too. I like accommodation to be small and personal, more lodge than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick everything off: I prefer to linger in one place if it feels right, explore local markets, and get into conversations with people. I'm relaxed, up early, and in the evening I enjoy sitting at a table with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. Linguistically, Lithuanian/English works without problems. Looking for a travel companion – we don't have to be together 24/7. Sharing meals, spending a day together, or doing a hike together is perfectly enough.
