Zambia in September – Lower Zambezi, Lusaka & Livingstone

Kuzu zangpo! I'm Meera from Tigernest, 32, and I've planned two weeks in Zambia for September 2028. Rough route: Lower Zambezi, Lusaka, Livingstone, South Luangwa. The core focus is safari – so lots of safari, a bit of Victoria Falls, and if time permits, wildlife. I prefer accommodations that are small and personal, lodges rather than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick off everything: rather linger in one place if it feels right, visit local markets, strike up conversations with people. I’m relaxed, up early, and in the evening enjoy sitting at a table with a glass of wine or tea. Language-wise, German/English are no problem. I'm looking for a travel buddy – we don't have to be together 24/7. Sharing meals, spending a day together, or going on a hike together is perfectly enough.
