North Korea in September – DMZ, Pyongyang & Kaesong

Hello there! I'm Sari from Kep, 26, and I've planned 6 days in North Korea for September 2028. Rough itinerary: DMZ, Pyongyang, Kaesong, Wonsan. Essentially, it's about guided travel – so lots of history, a bit of culture, and rare sights if time permits. I prefer accommodations that are small and personal, more like a boutique hotel than a large one. It's important to me not to just tick boxes: I'd rather linger in one place if it feels right, explore local markets, and strike up conversations with people. I'm easy-going, an early riser, and enjoy ending the day with a glass of wine or tea at a table. Communication in km/en is no problem. I'm looking for a travel companion – we don't have to be together 24/7. Sharing meals, spending a day together, or going for a hike together is perfectly enough.
