Pakistan in August – Skardu, Gilgit & Islamabad

Salaam! I'm Ananya from Hulhumalé, 28 years old, and I've planned two weeks in Pakistan for August 2028. Rough itinerary: Skardu, Gilgit, Islamabad, Hunza. The core focus is trekking – so lots of mountains, a bit of trekking, and if time allows, culture too. I prefer small and personal accommodation, more guesthouses than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick boxes: rather stay in one place if it feels right, explore local markets, chat with people. I'm laid-back, up early, and enjoy evenings with a glass of wine or tea at the table. Linguistically, German/English is no problem. Looking for a travel buddy – we don't have to be together 24/7.
