Hi! I’m Sofía from Paramaribo, 32 years old, and I've planned two and a half weeks in the USA for May 2027. Rough route: Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Zion, Monument Valley. At its core, it's about a road trip – so, lots of national parks, a bit of road trip, and if time permits, hiking too. I like accommodation that's small and personal, more like a motel than a big hotel. It's important to me not to tick boxes: better to linger in one place if it feels right, to visit local markets, to strike up conversations with people. I'm relaxed, up early, and in the evening I enjoy sitting at a table with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. In terms of language, Dutch/English is no problem. I'm looking for a travel buddy – we don't have to be together 24/7. Sharing meals, spending a day together, or doing a hike together is perfectly enough.
