Sohar South Africa in October – Knysna, Tsitsikamma & Port Elizabeth – South Africa (Sohar)
New

Marhaba! I'm Lucas, 28, from Sohar (Oman). South Africa has been on my list for years – now it's becoming a reality: in October 2027, I have two weeks off and I'm planning a road trip with stops in Knysna, Tsitsikamma, Port Elizabeth, and a few other places. Interests on location: road trip, wine, safari. Accommodation preference: guesthouses, no package tours, no rigidly scheduled program. I like to plan roughly and leave days open, enjoy getting up early and having a coffee with a view. Language-wise, Arabic/English works. Looking for a like-minded travel companion for the entire trip or individual sections. Feel free to message me if you're interested!

Sohar Chad in November – Lake Chad, N'Djamena & Ennedi – Chad (Sohar)
New

Marhaba! I'm David from Sohar, 37, and I've planned a week and a half in Chad for November 2028. Rough route: Lake Chad, N'Djamena, Ennedi, Zakouma. The core is a guided trip – so a lot of desert, a bit of rocks, and if time allows, also wildlife. I prefer small and personal accommodation, more camps than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick things off a list: rather stay in one place if it feels right, explore local markets, chat with people. I'm relaxed, up early, and in the evening enjoy sitting at a table with a glass of wine or tea. Language-wise, Arabic/English are no problem. Looking for a travel companion – we don't have to be together 24/7. Sharing meals, spending a day together, or doing a hike together is totally enough. If this sounds like you, feel free to get in touch.
