The core idea is island hopping – so lots of whales, a bit of snorkeling, and if time allows, also beach. I prefer small and personal accommodation, more guesthouses than big hotels. It’s important to me not to tick boxes: rather stay longer in one place if it feels right, check out local markets, strike up conversations with people.
