Winter Escape 2026/27: Sun, Beach & Culture (3+ Weeks Long-Haul Trip) ️

Hello to all travel enthusiasts, I'm 48 from Linz and am already planning the next big adventure: When it gets unpleasant here, I prefer to pack my swim trunks and my explorer's gene! For the period from November 2026 to April 2027, I am looking for a nice and likeable travel companion who is up for distant destinations. Since a long flight should be worthwhile, I plan at least 3 weeks for long-haul travel – I am completely flexible regarding the duration. What I'm looking for & what I offer: Feel-good climate: I need warmth! 25 to 35 degrees Celsius air temperature and a sea that breaks the 25-degree mark are my personal paradise. Destinations: I know my way around well (Maldives, Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, Dom. Rep., Mexico, Cuba, Thailand, Cambodia, UAE, etc.), but I am extremely curious about new places like Vietnam, Colombia, Panama, or similar. Travel style: A healthy mix of relaxation on the beach and active culture. I enjoy renting a car to explore the country flexibly and to venture off the beaten path. - depending on the travel destination. Togetherness: Honesty, a positive attitude, and good conversations are important to me. Since I live in Linz, I am absolutely open to getting to know each other beforehand (video call or in-person meeting) – after all, the chemistry has to be right before we get on the plane together.
