Looking for a cabin mate for an Advent cruise on 13.12.2026

The cruise departs from Hamburg on 13.12.2026 with the MSC Preziosa and lasts 7 days. The ports of call are Zeebrugge (B), Le Havre, Cherbourg (both F), and Southampton (GB). All ports are – admittedly – relatively inconspicuous. Why this trip anyway? The MSC Preziosa is beautifully decorated during Advent. It also has nice bars/cafes and an excellent à la carte restaurant. Furthermore, the entertainment in the theater (but not only there) is really good. And you can easily take trips to beautiful cities with Christmas markets from the aforementioned ports (Bruges, Rouen, Caen, Winchester). I will do this individually by train. Finally, the cruise is of course significantly cheaper at this time of year. With an inside cabin and the Easy drinks package, it comes to about €725 p.p. (Excursions will of course be extra). I personally want to take advantage of the Christmas markets on this trip and explore the local sights. But a stay in a cafe or pub is also always an option. You are welcome to join me on my trips. However, this is just an offer. Feel free to design the trip according to your own preferences. Then we'll limit ourselves to sharing the cabin and possibly having dinner together in the restaurant. My goal on this trip is simply a relaxed, friendly togetherness – and, of course, an affordable travel price. By the way, I am a non-smoker and I don't snore. Despite my 62 years, I am still quite active, which is why I don't tend to shuffle slowly through cities. I also love culture and therefore sometimes spend a bit longer in churches. The excursion time is not enough for museums anyway. Oh yes, one more thing: The journey starts from Hamburg. I will probably arrive a day earlier, visit the Christmas markets there and go to a comedy show in the evening. The next morning there is the fish market and a free concert in the adjacent hall. Maybe you'd fancy that too? Incidentally, this is not my first Advent cruise with the MSC Preziosa. And I already know the excursion destinations (except for Caen) (and therefore also know that they are feasible time-wise). Why another time then? Well, the journey simply sets the mood for Christmas wonderfully.
