China in September 2026 – Companions or interested travelers wanted

I'm planning a roughly three-week trip to China for September 2026 and am looking for interested individuals from German-speaking Switzerland or the southern German region who would like to get to know each other in person and exchange travel ideas. My search radius includes Zurich, Winterthur, Baden, Zug, Aarau, Basel, as well as Freiburg im Breisgau, among others. However, I'm also open to a meeting point halfway for an initial get-together. I'm particularly interested in cities, culture, nature, landscapes, and everyday local life. Luxury travel, beach holidays, or party trips are less of a priority for me. My current (and still completely flexible) route idea: Beijing (5 nights) Forbidden City Temple of Heaven Great Wall of China Experience historical and modern China Pingyao (2 nights) One of China's most beautiful historical old towns Traditional architecture and atmosphere Xi'an (2 nights) Terracotta Army City Wall Culinary specialties Chongqing (4 nights) Futuristic megacity Spectacular skyline Hotpot and urban China in XXL Yangtze River cruise (3 nights) Cruise through the Three Gorges Impressive landscapes Relaxing travel days Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (3 nights) The famous rock formations Breathtaking viewpoints Nature and hiking Shanghai (4 nights) Modern skyline Historic districts Culinary delights and big city life The route is just an initial idea and can of course be adapted, extended, or completely changed. Compatibility is more important to me than an exactly identical travel plan. The trip is not yet booked. My main goal is to get to know people with similar travel interests. Whether this leads to a shared journey, individual travel segments, or simply an interesting exchange can be discussed in a relaxed manner during a meeting.
