Tour through Northern and Central Italy

Hello, I'm going on vacation to relax and also to get new culinary influences for my pizza shop and my catering. And I would like to have uncomplicated female company along the way. Either a vacation apartment or a hotel with a pool!! Nothing is set in stone yet, but a few days on the beach and at the lake are a must. The main focus is clearly on relaxing and trying a lot of new food. Surely a city trip or two to Verona and Milan or Florence will be included! I'm open to suggestions and ideas. The companion should be funny and also contribute her ideas. Getting to know each other beforehand is desirable and probably better for both sides!
