Holiday at a European lake

I am moving my home office to a European country abroad for two weeks. I don't know exactly where yet, but definitely to a larger lake, as I will be bringing my 'sports boat'. Currently, I am considering Lake Garda or Lake Geneva on the French side. However, this could still change. The only thing that is currently fixed is the travel period. I work daily from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., although these times are flexible and can be moved. After 2 p.m., it's time for hikes and boat trips. City trips and day trips are also possible, especially on weekends. My little dog will be coming with me. I am traveling by car in any case. On the one hand, I want to be mobile at the vacation spot, and on the other hand, there's no other way because I'm bringing the boat with me.
