Good morning! I'm Sara from Gozo, 25 years old, and I've planned two weeks in Réunion for September 2028. Rough itinerary: Cirque de Mafate, Piton de la Fournaise, Saint-Pierre, Saint-Denis. The main focus is hiking – lots of hiking, a bit of volcano, and if there's time, the beach too. I prefer small, personal accommodations, more Gîtes than large hotels. It’s important to me not to tick boxes: rather linger in a place if it feels right, explore local markets, strike up conversations with people. I'm relaxed, an early riser, and enjoy evenings with a glass of wine or tea at the table. Language-wise, Maltese/English are no problem. I'm looking for a travel buddy – we don't have to be together 24/7. Sharing meals, spending a day together, doing a hike together is totally enough.
