Salam! I'm Ananya from Gilgit, 30 years old, and I've planned two weeks in Laos for January 2028. Rough route: Vang Vieng, Nong Khiaw, Luang Prabang, Vientiane. The core is a round trip – so lots of Mekong, a bit of temples, and if there's time, hiking too. I prefer small and personal accommodation, more guesthouses than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick everything off: rather stay longer in a place if it feels right, experience local markets, strike up conversations with people. I'm relaxed, up early, and in the evenings, I like to sit at a table with a glass of wine or tea. Language-wise, German/English is no problem.
