The core focus is safari – so lots of jungle, a bit of wildlife, and if time permits, also gorillas. I prefer accommodations that are small and personal, more lodges than large hotels. It's important to me not to tick off everything on a list: I'd rather linger in a place if it feels right, explore local markets, and strike up conversations with people. I'm relaxed, an early riser, and in the evenings, I enjoy sitting at a table with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. Language-wise, German/English works without any problems.
