Hello everyone! I'll be in the Karwendel region for a week at the end of July and will be doing moderate hikes there. This can be done alone, but it's more fun in company, to enjoy the impressions together. Moderate means: 3-6 hours, maximum 15 km and 600 meters of altitude, preferably with a stop at an alpine hut or mountain hut. This can be a bit more if you're interested, I'm just not up for grueling marches anymore. If anyone else is there and interested in a day trip together, please get in touch. To come up with enough words: I've been regularly in the Alps for decades, I've also done multi-day tours, but I'll only do routes that are marked as blue or red in hiking guides. 4-6 weeks on top of the world, in and around Kyrgyzstan. The Pamir, Lake Issyk-Kul, amazing canyons in Kazakhstan and the wonderful mountain world of Altai. A detour to Fergana or Samarkand, why not? Rental car, a bit of hiking, public transport, just pack your backpack/suitcase and off you go. Culture, nature, local cuisine, some fresh air. Life should be enjoyable.
