Jambo! I'm Naledi from Serengeti, 24, and I've planned a week and a half in the DR Congo for July 2028. Rough route: Bukavu, Goma, Virunga, Nyiragongo. At its core, it's about guided travel – so lots of gorillas, a bit of volcano, and if time permits, hiking too. I prefer accommodation to be small and personal, more lodges than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick boxes: I'd rather stay longer in a place if it feels right, explore local markets, and chat with people. I'm relaxed, up early, and happy to sit at a table with a glass of wine or tea in the evening. Linguistically, Swahili/English are no problem.
