Hello, I'm drawn to the United Kingdom again. I was in Scotland last in 2023, but only briefly, and only on the outskirts of the Highlands. In between, I had short weekend trips to Edinburgh and Glasgow. My plan is to rent a car again and then roughly drive along the coast through the country. Accommodations via AirBnB (but I always compare AirBnB, booking.com, and hotels.com). But at least once or twice I want my classic cottage. Looking at landscapes, looking at cities, doing some sightseeing, maybe jumping into the sea, maybe going to a museum, etc. If you have another destination in the UK, or even Ireland, in mind, we can talk about it. The only important thing is that you have a driver's license. Unfortunately, I don't have one. You don't have to be afraid of driving on the left. I have rented a really nice thatched-roof house in Wenningstedt from July 6th to 17th – three bedrooms, six beds, private sauna, high-quality and generously furnished. My dog will be with me; he'll mostly just be relaxing and going along for the ride. No fixed schedule, explicitly no expectations – just good conversations, maybe cooking together, going to the beach, having a drink or eating out in the evening, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet. I'm planning a 1-week trip to Normandy during the specified period with my 8-year-old son. We'll be renting a vacation apartment or house roughly in the center of Normandy. From there, we'll drive around a bit each day, going left or right, depending on our mood. My parents have a very large house right on the beach with many bedrooms. This is what I would like to do together with you: 2 weeks of heat, single room with air conditioning, hotel with all-inclusive. You can expect a 100% guarantee of good weather, the Red Sea at bathtub temperature, days with a community program according to desire and interest, and solo program if interests differ. My interests include occasional diving, which means a dive boat departure at 8:30 AM and return at 3:30 PM. I am an experienced 125cc rider (with a German driver's license, which is not needed for two-wheelers in Egypt) and will rent a 200cc scooter for 1 week. I trust myself to make a trip over the Red Sea mountains to Luxor and back, either by myself or as a passenger (tiring! Sahara!) that would be something for adventurous women. The community program should at least include evening dinner and occasionally the evening show (folklore, Sufi, cobra...), which is interesting for a woman traveling alone but does not want to eat alone in the evening. The range of possibilities, depending on sympathy and interest, extends to an eventful couple's vacation: having breakfast and meals together, diving or riding motorcycles together, snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, excursions to museums, mosques, and Coptic churches, into the desert, for shopping... With one or two scooters in front of the hotel, the tourist infrastructure of Hurghada can either be ideally used or bypassed. Excursions are very easy to arrange. If you want to fly from a different airport or only holiday for part of the period, I will be happy to meet you at the agreed date in the hotel lobby.
