At its core, it's about a city trip – so lots of Art Nouveau, a bit of beach, and if time permits, also hiking. I prefer small and personal accommodations, rather a boutique hotel than large chains. It's important to me not to tick everything off a list: I'd rather linger in a place if it feels right, explore local markets, and chat with people.
